IN THE ZONE

Vybe

Motivating others to be kind, positive, and creative, Vybe loves sharing the feeling he gets when he’s in the zone boarding to music. He vibe’s out and spreads positivity by having fun on his board while not caring if others are judging.

Whenever he feels like shredding, he just gears up, grabs his board, and steps out his front door. Riding 3-4 times a week in Huntington Beach, CA, Vybe prefers smooth pavement like new streets, parks, and empty parking garages where the floors are very smooth so he can get great slides.

His board has his signature black & gold Vybe colors and LED lights underneath for that out-of-this-world feeling.

And music. Vybe’s always playing music. The genre…well that just depends on his Vybe for the day. Riding his SBX brings out a level of confidence that he never knew he had. It also brings a rush of excitement and freedom.

What sparked your interest in Summerboard?

I’ve never had any experience skating or snowboarding, when I first moved to Hb in January of 2020..I saw sooo many people riding electric skateboards..scooters..& Bicycles, it blew my mind. So I started doing research for an electric skateboard, I was a few weeks into my search and thought I made my decision...and then........a Summerboard Ad showed up on my Instagram feed...I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. To see someone snowboarding on the street was the ultimate level of coolness. All this time I was looking for a regular electric skateboard & then I came across this revolutionary machine. After a couple weeks of Summerboard research...I knew I had to have it, I had no experience and had no idea the discipline I was in for....but I was ready, and in July of 2020, I proudly purchased my Summerboard

What does Summerboard help you do?

The Summerboard brought out a level of confidence in myself that I never knew I had. I knew how cool it would look if I could ride like the guys in the Summerboard ad I saw...so THAT was my motivation. I rode everyday for weeks at night in solo areas until I was ready to ride public. After I started getting the hang of the mechanics.. I was introduced to a group of Summerboard riders who became very good friends of mine. The Summerboard helped me become more confident in myself because I wouldn’t allow myself to give up on the learning curve of the board. It also introduced me to an awesome community of riders who I will forever call my Summerbros.

Was there one thing that really pushed you to pull the trigger and buy the Summerboard?

Watching the Summerboard ads and all the YouTube videos, especially the video by @markdoeseverything, I watched all his Summerboard videos nonstop until my board arrived, Mark definitely played a big part in my decision to purchase my Summerboard.

What were your biggest hesitations and doubts before buying the Summerboard?

The biggest hesitation was the price, because I had no experience in skating at all..it was quite the investment in myself, but I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of, so in the end..the decision to buy was easy

How often do you ride?

I ride about 3-4 times a week

How would you describe your typical ride? Where do you like to go? Any things you practice? Music?

My Favorite place to ride is empty parking garages, the floors are very smooth so u get great slides, and I’m ALWAYS playing music, now the genre...well that just depends on my Vybe for the day.

What kind of sensations / feelings do you have when you ride?

I feel a rush of excitement and freedom, the feeling of the wind blowing against you as you shred and have the time of your life is unmatched to anything else.

Where is your favorite place to ride?

The smoother the pavement, the better for me, so parking garages..new streets..parks

Anything special about your board?

I like to change my griptape whenever it starts to get worn, I like staying within my Vybe colors (black & gold), I also have led lights underneath for that out of this world UFO feeling

What would you tell a snowboarder that has only seen Summerboard online, and is wondering if this board is legit or not?

For me, it was a no brainer, the Summerboard is the future of eboarding and snowboarding. It brings something completely new to the electricboard market while being the go to choice for snowboarders during the off season, you truly can snowboard 365 days of the year...and the best part is whenever you feel like shredding..just gear up..grab your board..and step out the front door
