Summerboards in the rental fleet cannot be purchased.
Why must I verify ID? Is it safe and secure?
Just like a bike rental shop, we must verify ID of the renter with photo and state ID. Simply take a "selfie" style photo of you and your state ID and upload via the link provided in the rental agreement.
Your ID information will be stored securely and will not be shared, sold, or used in any way other than rental identification.
What happens if a repair is needed?
Simply contact email@example.com and we will provide replacement parts or request the board to be sent back for repair, depending on the nature of the issue.
Repairs covered by warranty will be covered by SUMMERBOARD and the period of time the equipment is in our shop will be credited to the renter. Any repairs not covered by warranty are the responsibility of the renter. We provide fair costs of replacement parts and use refurbished parts where possible to lower replacement costs charged to customers.
Normal wear and tear is always covered by SUMMERBOARD.
Do I need to return the equipment at the end of the 30-day period?
All equipment must be dropped off or shipped and scanned by the shipping company before the end of the 30-day rental period.
If you decide to keep the rental board, your card will be billed $299 for each additional month.
Refund upon purchase
$299 will be deducted from the cost of a new board if purchased during the rental period.
