Hailing from the outskirts of London, Nettie and her boyfriend ride nearly every day to escape the city and get out into nature. She quickly got addicted to her Summerboard after initially trying her boyfriend’s and then taking the plunge to purchase one for herself.
Now she rides every other day.
Owning her own dog walking service with its own super cool van, she loves being outdoors all day. As a dedicated rock climber, she’s all about adrenaline, concentration, and getting lost in the ‘zone.’
Being in nature is where Nettie prefers to be, much more so than in the city, and being on her board allows her to easily get into the zone wherever she may be. Especially when she can find good concrete.

As her town is pretty green, Nettie rides over different terrain. She’s added Freshies to her board which has been an absolute game changer.
For Nettie, riding her board in the green outdoors has legit become second nature.

I’m from, and live in the outskirts of London.
What do you like about the city / town you live in?
My town is pretty green, I love being out in nature more so than the city.
What would you call yourself?
Energetic, competitive, hyper, happy.
What sparked your interest in Summerboard?
It just looks so much fun, my boyfriend had recently got a board and I loved it.
What were your biggest hesitations and doubts before buying the Summerboard?
Not having enough good concrete around my local area.
How often do you ride?
I ride every other day.
What other sports or hobbies do you have?
I’m a pretty dedicated rock climber.
What kind of sensations / feelings do you have when you ride?
Adrenaline, concentration, lost in the ‘zone’.
What is your field of work? Is it passion or is it something that allows you to explore your passions outside of work?
I’m a dog Walker, I love it because I love dogs and being outside all day.
Where is your favorite place to ride?
Anywhere we can find good concrete. I’m undecided so far, I’ll know after lockdown ends properly.
Anything special about your board?
Not yet, I have the freshies which are a game changer if you’re riding where I am.
