When travel restrictions limited his ability to get to snow-covered mountains in 2021, Kevin decided to try the Summerboard. Riding it was like the first day of snowboarding. It took a little while to get used to, but Kevin’s always up for a good challenge.

Adding footholds, similar to snowboard binding, helped him with leverage. Once he learned riding breakthrough balancing on the two center wheels, it unlocked a lot of skills including riding switch and getting smooth slides. Soon he his was doing 180°s and a few 360°s.

Now, there’s so much room to progress. The possibilities are endless. But, for Kevin, unlocking the feeling of snowboarding when there was no snow and no resort to go to was the biggest win.
