PUMPED UP & STRESS FREE

Devon Alvarado

Devon Alvarado loves traveling on his board 35-45 miles a week commuting to his evening job at local brewery Ballast Point. Living close to the beach and downtown Los Angeles, there are lots of spots for Devon to ride.

And you can’t beat the weather, he rides almost every day.

Each time he rides, he feels pumped up and stress-free. Headphones in, looking for new lines in DTLA or on huge hills, Devon makes sure to go fast and get air.

He’s even added a little color to his board to stand out.

Devon almost prefers riding his Summerboard to snowboarding because there’s so much more terrain to hit. He’s able to snowboard through his city where it doesn’t even snow.

Devon doesn’t need to drive anywhere.

Now he just walks out his front door and goes.

6-7 Days a week or 35-45 miles a week

Anything special about your board?

I didn’t change anything about the board for hardware but I do like to add a little color to it so it stands out more.

What would you tell a snowboarder that has only seen Summerboard online, and is wondering if this board is legit or not?

Don’t knock it till you try it because I almost prefer Summerboard over snowboarding because I have so much more terrain to hit. Just think if you should snowboard though your city where it doesn’t ever snow! I don’t need to drive anywhere I just walk about my front door and go!
